MEMORY

It amazes me how the brain works. I know I’ve said this many times before but I always remember the exact moments and highlights happening as I paint a part of a piece. Painting the hair on the coffee sleeve for instance, I vividly remember a scene from Mozart in the Jungle, a series I marathon-watched to park a part of my ADD brain somewhere while the rest did the artistic bits. The episode was in Venice and the scene was when Rodrigo was drifting away in a gondola.

The point is, if you happened to be physically with me at an art making session (or call me at the time — good luck if I find the courage to pick up a live phone call though) then trust that a sweet memory of you will be tucked in beautifully into the layers and folds of rich, colorful paint I slather on the canvas.

You will forever be a part of a masterpiece from my heart.

The magic in me recognizes the magic in you.

Inspire forward.
